I need a wrist vibrating alarm.

Anybody know where I can find something like that in lb?

Thanks
Someone can't wait up early :-)

I will sleep more comfortably if I know there is something to wake me up if somehow my body decides to sleep :D
Some advice change your alarm tone regularly and put the alarm/phone far away from you. Changing the ringtone helps ALOT, since your mind is not used to it. And if you set your phone to ring, adjust he snooz to 2 min only...
hahah its ok some humor is always welcomed :D

No you got it all wrong. I can wake up easily and quickly with an alarm but the problem is that I sleep on a two level bed and my parents room is close as well.

I dont want to wake up all the family...

I need something silence but will do the trick at the same time. I remember seeing something for IPhone but am not into technology. I was hoping to find something similar without having to buy that stupid phone :P
Well i used to be in the same situation, as i used to sleep on the upper level of the bed. But i used to put the clock on the library, its on the same level, or between the bed and wall.

On a side note, i once woke up on the floor :P. My sister felt that somthing fell, but she thought i was the bed shet, not me :).
well why dont you just put your alarm clock/cell phone under your pillow...? does the trick for me :)

doesn't do the trick :(
Are there any stores here that have things for the deaf? You may be able to find something like that there. And, I second putting the alarm/phone under the pillow--also works for me.
can you sleep with headphones ?? this can do the trick.
buy a rooster and put it in a cage next to you when you sleep :P
Easy solution: build one:

Hook any motor to a gear, then solder an alligator clip on it, voila a vibrating motor (or you can find a pager and take out the vibrator, or if you find any buy a vibrating motor used for pagers). Then use some dry cell watch batteries to supply the necessary voltage:

Then encase the whole thing and attach it to a velcro strap to make a vibrating watch. Piece of cake :)
ok thanks everybody ^_^

I would like to build this or find an alternative solution. I think it would make a nice gift to a friend whose birthday is coming up.
@mesa: you seem to have overlooked an important requirement. The vibrating motor needs to be activated at a certain hour.
It does not really have to be a wrist band. A mattress vibrator or a pillow vibrator would work as well and should be simpler to locally build in lebanon, taking into consideration that the bulk of electronics need to be crammed inside a non cumbersome wrist band. If you need help, tell me. :)

All you need is a digital timer and you're good to go.

But J4D has a point, we have to consider the bulkness of the electronics. The wrist band is easy to manufacture from velcro, but where to place the electronics? There is the idea of conductive fabric which can be used to double as a breadboard and a clothing encasing for the electronics and vibrating motor:

I'll think it over...

thanks its fine for now i dont need one... i will let you know when i need one
