Hey guys,
I can't access the Internet at home through my Thomson TG585 router. I keep reaching a page saying Authentication failed. I called customer service and they were of no help. They told me to reboot the router and to try to plug in my laptop via an Ethernet cable(which I already did.)
Can anyone help find me a solution please. I'm stuck using wap on my phone.
Thanks
babum
there is a router connected to the modem? could you try connecting your pc directly to the modem rather than to the router?

when you connect directly to the router ,or on your pc , can you access it as admin ?

Yes, I can access it as admin and not the Thomson acts also a modem.

ranibalaa, I get the same thing all the time. I was unable to find the problem, but your best bet is to click keep clicking "connect" in the admin panel, eventually it'll work. (let it respond before you click again)

I had the same issue with the SAME modem, but with an ogero connection
after entering the config place where you enter the user/pass for Ogero or whatever ISP it may be it was completely blank
I couldn't solve this but but extracting my User and Pass and resetting the modem
i think these Thompson's are just madrubeen
