i have upgraded my pc this summer and i have 3 12cm fan, i need a fan controler , a friend suggested to make it out of scrach but i don't want to get in that...

okay that would be awesome, the reason i want full 12v is because my case top fans are around 1600rpm, they don't move that much air, so i don't want them turn slower on full power, but i still want to slow them down when not gaming ;)

I have finished the circuit layout for the controller. Some retouches are still needed of course.
All you need to know is that it supports 6 channels and can variate the speed of PWM fans as well as regular fans. The speed of the fans will be controlled from a custom software installed on your machine and the controller plugged into one of the empty USB ports you have.

may i ask which software do you use to build software based circuits?

the fan controller that i made was a huge FAIL
first off i couldn't go with 6 channels since it was too hard
so i went with just one single channel , after HOURS of welding i connected it to a fan then a PSU and it didn't work , i haven't looked through the problem yet but when i get it to work i'll upload a pic and a plot to make it

guess its ok for a newbie, try again, you probably installed the voltage regulator wrong side and the pot meter
