  • Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2 (My impressions!)

I just came back from watching it , and if i can describe it in one word , it would be MAGICAL . The movie is very moving , emotional , thrilling and action packed . Some battles and special effects are incredibly amazing , the Final showdown also , the musical score , almost everything. There was one particular Part in the movie , in the second act , that if it does not make you sad , or cry , you are just not a normal human , the epilogue was better than i expected . Every Hardcore or minor HP fan , will love this , better than the book IMO , now if you haven't watched the movies or read the book , don't watch this , you won't understand anything , so don't bother . Finally , i am not saying that this movie should win The best picture award at the Oscars , but it should at least sweep the technical departement , Special effects/Cinematogrophy/Art director/Editing maybe even the music departements , and if Alan Rickman doesn't get the best Supporting actor award , he'd be completely robbed
Can't wait! I'm going to watch it on Saturday, thanks for not ruining anything.
Cool, I was coming over here to see if anyone saw it--I am going next week when my brother gets back into town. Thanks for the review.
How could you get tickets for the premiere ? :P I tried to call ABC but they were all sold out a week ago.

I won tickets from that Circuit Empire Competition.
EDIT: If you want to book , go to the cinema and book yourself , they always tell you there aren't places left on the phone.
Oh, i'll keep that in mind for Captain America when it comes out.
Harry Potter was very thrilling. I kept shaking all the movie long.
Reserved my tickets for Saturday 7:45 session city mall.

indeed effects are just great - it is like diving into someone's good imagination - the action keeps rolling - story is unfolding in a nice way.

because lebanons cinema's suck :P
7 days later
I saw it a couple of nights ago--my impressions.

1. 3D was a waste--added very little to the movie.

2. The movie was very good, but I felt it a bit rushed. That's sort of odd saying that as this was the second part and both movies together were close to 5 hours of playtime. I think there will be an extended version coming when it is released on bluray.

3. The movie did come together well--it was fun seeing how grown up some of the characters had become especially Neville who you wouldn't recognize from the first movies.

Overall, I would give it a rating of 8.3/10 only because it felt rushed. I have a feeling that if I saw an extended version, it would be higher. I felt the same way about the Lord of the Rings trilogy after seeing them in the theaters and seeing the extended version dvds.

That's 100% correct, only at the end when Voldermort died, you can see some 3D effects -.-,

and the movie was gr8, not like the others but it's a kick a$$ movie, and way much better than the Deathly Hallows part 1 which was lame!
