xterm I'm looking to buy a Keyboard. Requirements: 1- Big 2- Not gaming 3- Price irrelevant 4- Heavy duty 5- Extra functionality will not be used (browser, media, etc...) Any advice?
rolf I have an old keyboard that we keep since the early 90ies (if it's not the late 80ies...). It's shell is made of metal, it is pretty heavy and big, the keys are very noisy (will annoy the hell out of your wife) and it still looks in great condition. It's probably because of the build quality, back then they built these things in the USA and they were made to last. With a couple of adapters, and maybe some tinkering, it could probably be made to work. Are you interested? PS: I'm not sure I want to sell it :)
Bassem From your list of requirements (or lack thereof) it sounds like any ten-dollar keyboard will do. I use nothing but, and they last for years and years.
arithma Microsoft Comfort Curve Keyboard 2000. Once you use it, going back to the standard rectangular keyboard becomes pain (signifying their inferiority). They're rightly priced too ($18 on pcandparts.com)
