For those of you who still play CoD on your PS3 (same should apply to 360) then most of you are probably frustrated by the shady 2 bars and even 1 bar constant connections we get

With the recent internet "upgrade" our latency to Europeans has been much much better.

Pinging a UK website for example will give us a nice 95-100ms ping rate

I have realized that Blackops bases its matchmaking on your PSN region; you can see this by selecting the options menu in the multiplayer mode, and then pressing select.

As a result, i went and made a UK account, logged back in, and voila, my 3 bars are there

With MW2 the matchmaking works otherwise, so you should have your 3 bars straight off the bat

The 3 bar is very real, from my experience i can tell its a good 140-160ms whilst in game :)

Im on a 256kb/s Ogero connection.

If you guys want to try this out then go ahead, its working for me so far
This is not a lag fix this is just switching your gaming servers to uk so that you will only connect to uk servers which is indeed the best connection we have till now.

But when i had my 360 i registered a us account, so i was connecting to us servers and sometimes had 3 bars it all depends on the server connection not only on the country.
with respect to us, it is a fix :P

yes, my USA PSN account gets into games with 3 bar ping, but that is very rarely and it would be very unstable

now im experiencing NO issues what so ever, always 3 bars like Mw2. Then again it's free for us PlayStation people - its worth a try for those who have one, you wont loose anything i suppose (other than your rank and stuff) / give it a shot guys.
