this traceroute was done to a public IP that is not for your box, it seems for a cache server, so you cannot get an exact answer.NuclearVision wroteI'm not with cyberia, i have a shitty upload speed i doubt it is offered cia fibre, i am a cable susbcriber.
The traceroute in my previos post above is for ogero...
How do you know about the fiber thing?

Internet Speed and Latency in Lebanon

I was satisfied with the adsl back home in Lebanon but I hope to see such connection in the near future with a reasonable price and unlimited quota.
Does your Cyberia internet Disconnect from time to time randomly, or just stop working for few minutes?
maybe your router is dyingPaladin wroteDoes your Cyberia internet Disconnect from time to time randomly, or just stop working for few minutes?
I doubt it's from the router. Im guessing either the modem is having problems or your phone line.ballad wrotemaybe your router is dyingPaladin wroteDoes your Cyberia internet Disconnect from time to time randomly, or just stop working for few minutes?
Hi, I've been facing very annoying slowdowns when browsing any HTTPS sites, I'm with terranet, anyone facing this issue too?

Same here. Not always though.CorrrrrrrRrrrrrrRrrRRupt wroteHi, I've been facing very annoying slowdowns when browsing any HTTPS sites, I'm with terranet, anyone facing this issue too?
I'm not sure if this is related to IMEWE.

Delay is high on fiber, maybe we are facing a problem on IMEWE or CADMOS.Which ISP? Cause it looks like ur ISP use satellite
@nuclearcat: i agree with you when i see the high delay, but the traceroute results (Down & Up) show that my ISP routes my traffic via fiber, i'm with terranet.
I am facing the same problem the last 3-4 months,im using Terranet 4 Mbps. When we were first connected to IMEWE i use to have 65ms ping (using speedtest.net via European servers). Now i get 314-380 instead.
Ping fixed on Terranet, ~96 ms to Europe.
When i restart my router sometimes ping its fine and sometimes not (depends on the ip it gets from the Terranet server)..
Question:
Does anyone in here know what kind of speed people are getting via DSL in remote towns of Mount Lebanon? i.e. Faraya, Hrajel, Mayrouba, Faytroun?
I know somebody whose router is still syncing at 128K. Isn't everyone supposed to be on 1Mbps? Anyone knows if speed is being concretely reached? Thanks

Guyz, has anyone notice the external IP from terranet ISP changed to UK today? OR is it just me?
I deeply checked in, nope im not using proxy nor anything related to that. From the router configuration info, the external IP is the same as an IP from London.
Simple check: speedtest.net (It used to show that im in Beirut)

I'm on the 4 mbits plan:

I'm on the 2mbps plan, from Sodetel.
I apologise for not using Speedtest.net , but the plugin it requires always crashes, I don't know why, I use testmy.net instead.
TEST ONE ( 3:53PM ) :
Download : 220 Kbps
Upload : 138 kbps
Ping* to Sodetel.net.lb : 64.4 min and 306.3 max
Google.com: min/max = 379.749/613.857 ms
Bbc.co.uk 374.891/613.568 ms
*10 pings, 0% packet loss.
I hope this isn't normal.
TEST TWO ( 10:37PM ) :
Download : 202 kbps
Upload : 72 kbps
Pings are the same as TEST ONE.
Next time I will try by connecting the computer directly with an Ethernet cable, I don't have one meanwhile.
