  • How much can i sell my Xbox360

i have an excellent conditioned Xbox 360 elite that's almost as good as new
its modded to run copied games (m3adale)
and i also am giving with it 40 games ....
i got it for 400$ on Christmas but i haven't turned it on more then 10 times
i have posted on elmazad and facebook for 330$ and if the person called i was going to lower the price to 300 or 280$
i wan't to sell it so that i can buy a new graphics card for my PC ( an ASUS GTX 560Ti (the one that's on sale on pc and parts))
so is my price fair ??
if not how much is fair ??
yh,its kind of fair, since a new single game costs 5000LBP, and the new elite is 300, more or less, yh, its a pretty good offer
MEgamer, can you point me to a place where there's Elite 360 for 300$? 360 seems to be out of stock almost everywhere. I can't even find a single brand new one anywhere, except for the slim modules. HELP!
MFR date on back of console please.

Your looking more at a 350$ price tag if the MFR is 2007-XX-XX

2007 are very prone to RRoD and E74 , 2008 not so much but it happens from what i've seen.

you wont really find one. They have been discontinued (production) and most sell quickly

You really have a small small chance of finding one.

If you people are really serious about the 360 still, find your self a 2009 Arcade model. Then buy a seperate 20-60GB HDD (you dnt need anymore) - these HDD are really cheap aswell, you will find them, even if used they can easily be formatted via the arcade and work well.

Im sure most of you are going by the rumor that the elite is RRoD proof or less prone at least. Well its absolute bonkers. Like i said, try securing a 2009 arcade if you can, and then go for a HDD addon, ahsan shi

that way you can secure a good console that is almost RRoD "proof" and works wonders - fully modified and brand new.

mine ran hot and i got 3 RROD when the electricity comes and goes
the slims are RROD proof because they shut down when they get hot....but they are unmodifiable (no ta3dil)

I have an elite xbox (80 GB HDD as far as I recall), that's been collecting dust for a while (turned it on around a dozen times only).
It's not modded - all original. I've also got an original game.

I wasn't thinking of selling it until I read the above messages. What's the real reason behind it being valuable?

So it is at least moddable. It's just not guaranteed to work on all versions till now.

A friend has an Xbox Arcade, MFR 2008-07-09, software modded, with memory card and 2 controllers. He is asking me how much should he sell it for. Any advice?

I sold it 2 years ago.

I suggest getting the new slim model, they are RROD proof and have better hardware.
