if you care about your money i repeat if you care about your money, return this item without even thinking, even if you fixed it, you will void your warranty, i suggest one thing before you do anything call pcandparts and tell them what happened with you, you have to be patient with these stuff.

Experience rules.

you right man....
i should send it back and wait ....it took me 4 months to get the money but whats another 6days ...right ???
i am going to email them the invoice they sent me to my email and tell them that the fan of the psu came faulty and is not working ...
Pcandparts.com support is incredibly annoying with warranties and such...you have to be precise and do NOT tamper with devices...but again they're right, because the average LEBANESE user is going to be reckless.

Anyways, good luck with getting it running. A return should not take 6 days, as I have once returned a faulty RAM module and received it back shortly. Basically, a PSU doesn't even need diagnosis as much as a RAM stick. Short pin 14 with ground pin and it should turn on. They may have the Thermaltake device for measuring voltages (basically it does nothing, since it causes no power load, but it can turn on the PSU without a motherboard).

I think they will only replace it if you give them the whole unit again boxed with all its cables and accessories.
But you could ask them about it, though i doubt they will only accept the PSU alone.
