S40's are feature phones,and not smartphones so they don't even have an OS installed.

They need to have at least some experience with a 1GHz processor. They're doing this for testing purposes only. Since this will help them to improve their batteries and optimize their hardware to benefit from the power of such a processor...

i think it's better to test those new hardware on S60 or the new Symbian Anna Phones at least they are smartphones.

i think nokia should just make sub 100$ phones for the third and fourth world countries, they seem good at that. they lost the high end market already and i doubt their wp7 phones will offer any competition since the os is made by the dinosaur microzeft.
