Nokia S40 phones with 1Ghz processors!

I think it's stupid of them. Just save the hardware for WP7.

they still dont get it. its not a hardware problem its a software. the os is very limited

S40's are feature phones,and not smartphones so they don't even have an OS installed.

a feature phone with 1 Ghz processor what the hell he is going to do with this CPU. according to reuters Nokia is going to lose money in Q2. so it's a nice move to start using some good hardwares but they need software and OS upgrades i mean really even S60 is not a real smartphone OS. they must consider using Android and start making W7 phones as fast as they can.

Yes,nokia are loosing it,the main problem is that they don't even listen to their customers,the have to change everything before it's too late.

Not at all.
They need to have at least some experience with a 1GHz processor. They're doing this for testing purposes only. Since this will help them to improve their batteries and optimize their hardware to benefit from the power of such a processor...

i think it's better to test those new hardware on S60 or the new Symbian Anna Phones at least they are smartphones.

i think nokia should just make sub 100$ phones for the third and fourth world countries, they seem good at that. they lost the high end market already and i doubt their wp7 phones will offer any competition since the os is made by the dinosaur microzeft.
