The 6 Most Ominous Trends in Video Games

This is probably the best gaming related article I've read all year, it really is an eye-opener for the current state of the industry, I've slightly noticed in E3 this year the relaunch of all these franchises but never expected it at such a large scale as presented in the article. While some sequels actually make sense others are just plain ridiculous, i guess we're set next year for modern warfare and battlefield 4 :\ and Halo 15 probably.

I agree to everything talked about in this article and sadly its the true state of gaming right now. The kinect and motion controls example gives alot of explanation on how this Generation of games is degrading.

Nop, it's mostly about a buisness trend that is 'bottle-necking' creative novelties in the video games sector. e.g. they're going for what makes more money and the future thus doesn't look too good for us gamers who want something new. you know, as in them not having balls to create something different since we don't have the balls to spend on something different... its becoming like hollywood. that's it.
