hey guys i just want to know if i can play ps3 games on my pc??
PS3 On PC
You need tofind a ps3 emulator for windows , install it, then rip the ps3 disc on your pc which is not as easy as ps2 discs, and then run the games with the emulator, but there's no point of doing this since the price of a ps3 game is way over the price of a dvd game, and the same games are available for both platforms, if not, wait for some time and they will be released!
Why are you confusing the guy, a PS3 emulator does not exist on the PC and it will never do.khalil13 wroteYou need tofind a ps3 emulator for windows , install it, then rip the ps3 disc on your pc which is not as easy as ps2 discs, and then run the games with the emulator, but there's no point of doing this since the price of a ps3 game is way over the price of a dvd game, and the same games are available for both platforms, if not, wait for some time and they will be released!
last time I checked there isn't any(yet).. and I "sadly" doubt it'll be anytime soon before we get such a treat in our hands.

Well not really, i think we will start seeing them in like 6 to 7 years or so. Every old generation console has been emulated for windows pc so far.ZeRaW wroteand it will never do.

Then >>>>>>> no :/
No.
Ps3 uses a wholly different architecture...the PS3 has a Cell processor with 7 SPEs (units). The CPU is more powerful than any processor on desktop. You need a heavily overclocked 12 core or something to even reach such processing power. Add in overhead...so basically now your only chance if emulation over a graphics card which has to process both graphics and CPU processing (difficult since code is specialized and needs to be ported)...basically xbox 360 is closer to PC than PS3 is, so that may be a viable option when hardware gets powerful enough to run in a software pipeline...I remember ps2 emulators needing quite powerful hardware to even break the 30fps mark
