Hello fellow Lebanese

I am posting this topic just to invite you Lebanese gaming enthusiasts and FPS PC gamers specifically to join Lebanese based Call of duty Modern Warfare 2 servers

The bad news is that Lebanese gamers don't have many options when it comes to online gaming, slow internet, alot of disconnections, HIGH pings to foreign servers etc ...

The Good news the servers location is in Lebanon and anyone with a DSL or a Wisebox connection can connect to our servers with a stable latency between 40-80 ms depending on your location in Lebanon.

The team had started with Call of duty 4 servers and now we launched 5 new MW2 servers and of course it is more popular than COD4, the servers are populated almost all the times, we have a fair number of Lebanese players and we hope to see more, if I am not mistaken some of our players are old members in this forum.
As mentioned we have 5 MW2 servers with different game types to fulfill everyone's liking the servers are of course UP 24/7 and this is a pic of their state taken yesterday:



Ingame there are active Lebanese admins, B3, Anti-Grenade Launchers Mod, Anti-Camping Mod and many other features.

To join our servers you can follow the instructions (see below) or can post here if you have problems joining.

More game servers (different games) are yet to come (we are open to suggestions) in addition those servers are not limited to WISE users only but to all Lebanese players and of course for FREE.

There is NO financial gain, or fame or whatever associated with these servers, we have only the intention of enjoying Lebanese company in our servers

And yes we are serious when we say 40-80 ms ping :P

Most of the times I cant even reach onto the server, because it doesnt showup when I refresh the Sever List, is there sort of a mnual trick to connect, I get pretty good latencies from the servers, almost 50ms. Thanks.
We want a Black Ops server....
And also If you can do something for us poor XBox live users :'(

Yes

Use a web browser like google chrome, and go to the wizone website, and simple click on the server you want, and choose to launch it with aIW

this is the simplest way, or copy the link location, past the IP part, and type connect before it in the console and voila

We have already discussed this. Yet unfortunately game servers with such games i.e. Blackops BFBC2 etc. don't have open public server side files - aIW is infact a rewritten code of the orginal steam code so to say / i.e. this is impossible

As for XBL :D - well probably never.

As a side note, these servers are open to anyoneeven outside Lebanon / expect a 150ms ping rate from EU; not sure about US but quite a lot i suppose.
Hey Guys! Wanna play a team deathmatch at 11:10PM? This is when I have unlimited download. The ping is EXCELLENT! 68 - 85ms in Lebanon, I've never seen that before!

The server list shows you Random 500 servers from the Master server, so sometimes you see all of our 5 servers at once, other times you will see a couple, rarely you will see none, you can keep refreshing or do one of the following things:

Things you can do:
1- Sort the servers by ping, so the lowest pings will show on top.
2- On our home page we have the servers banners, you can click on any banner to join the designated server.
3- You can visit the alteriwnet master list (http://alteriw.net/dedicated.php) which shows all the servers without exception you just click on the IP to join it.
3- Finally (the best option) once ingame press Alt-Tab and in the MW2 console type 
connect IP:PORT

Server files for BO are not available for public, alteriwnet is a third party modification for MW2 to play it online, however the same group claims to be working on a similar project for BO once it is out we will defenitly have a BO server, same about Battlefield Bad company 2, Medal of Honor ....

We play almost all the times, because the number of Leb players is still kinda low the servers are open to some foreign countries so you might see some foreigners, when you see players in any of our server join and enjoy a low ping gameplay, we have a Lebanese clan with the following tag [WZ], most of the WZ members are admins (Lebanese of course).

Guys I need help! There's this idiot who thinks I'm cheating because I'm always waiting for him to show up then I kill him. I got Sennheiser headphones with a Creative soundcard so I can hear where he's coming from. The idiot doesn't know how to crouch, so I can always hear him. What's more, he even beat me 1000-500. He couldn't believe I wasn't cheating and now he's going to report me. What can I do? (His name is Basti by the way)

Another question. I need to report a guy too. He was using autoaim and it was showing in his killcams. He had a score of 9750 and the 2nd guy was in the 1000s so it was obvious. Where can I report him?

whenever im online, im on xfire or msn, so if you find any issues with cheaters just drop me a nudge

as for being accused of cheating, we wont ban you, worst is you get banned from alteriw's sucky p2p server (which is really slow and extremely laggy) so don't worry.
