My friend told me that a guy can bring him the HTC Thunderbolt to Lebanon and use it here as if were a free phone and not locked to Verizon!
How can this be ? Is this true? Can it work in Lebanon?

Check if it's GSM and not 4G, only GSM phones can work here

the thunderbolt uses LTE CDMA based network only works in few countries across the world, and doesnt work in lebanon or europe. it doesnt even have a sim slot
