How to enable this feature on my Hero?
Android Version: 2.1 Eclair
Well, there is a way, android 2.2 supports the request of an app to be installed on either your SD card or internal memory, unfortunately android 2.2 isn't available for htc hero (officially)... fortunately, there are tons of custom ROMs for your hero,so if your into modding, try a custom ROM ;)
good luck :)

Hey, I have the same problem, I wanted to install a custom rom, the cyanogenmod looked like the most legit one so I decided to try it, turns out it's not available for the Hero (the current mod version) so can you point us to a decent rom with a good tutorial on how to root and install it? thanks!

Some people don't know how to flash,If you know how to flash your phone with a custom ROM,and update it's radio, then your good to go :)
I don't know much about flashing android since my android phone didn't last for long.
