Good day everyone,
I have a question to ask that if a person sent you an email from a hotmail account and sent you another email from another hotmail account, Is there any basic way that can let you know that it's coming from the same person through IP Addresses? I've been asked the question several days ago and i doubted it's capability to happen since in Lebanon, users are not behind real IPs.

Thank you.
you can check the real ip of the ISP from the headers of hotmail ..but I don't think it will help you
There is no basic way, except that person has static ip.
Static IP which means a real IP because we are all on subnets like if we were in the same network. we use the 192.168.... IP Addresses, the Private ones. So logically, a simple user can't identify if the email is sent from 2 different accounts from the same location.
It can show up in the headers, if you find a way of showing the "email source" I forgot how they call this in the Hotmail interface.
Of course without a static IP you cannot tell for sure if it's the same person, but you can tell where it's from and do a guess or come to a logical conclusion.
