In short, Abu Dhabi is the first city in the world to have full fiber optic coverage to every home according to Etisalat. In addition, UAE is on its way to becoming the first country in the world to have full fiber optic coverage. Etisalat already provides 30 Mbps for residences and 100 Mbps for businesses.

So much for Lebanon trying to attract IT based businesses.........

Unfortunately, Lebanon is the best example for corruption. And they're proud of it!

HaHa i know i live in the UAE , the speed is amazing however the bandwidth unless you get a decent package sucks. 32mbps costs like 200$ and download quotas dont exist :). There is also a portable 32mpbs usb(3g) which costs about 250$ .
