Hey Guys,
recently i've updated my blackberry from OS 4.6 to OS 5.0.0.592 through the Desktop manager, the manager told me that there are 2 OS versions, one is 4.6 but newer than mine and the other is 5.0.0.592.
The Issue is that OS 5.0.0.592 has many bugs especially in the media player and i'd like to upgrade it to higher versions like 5.0.0.618 but the problem is that the desktop manager isn't giving me such version to update, it's telling me that there's no update, though OS 5.0.0.618 is compatible with BB 8520 (my phone).
hmm can i download the newer version from blackberry site then update it manually or it will affect my phone (such as locking the phone or sim card or something..)
If it happened with some one once, please share your experience with me.
