mesa177 wroteGreat meeting guys, and I simply love this community :)
@rahmu: We went around in turns talking about background (briefly) and what languages we like to code with, what our nicknames meant, and how we found out about LebGeeks. We had a nice presentation from xterm concerning Ubuntu 11.04 (mostly navigation and shortcuts) and brief conversations about a variety of topics (more of side talks really), the ones I listened to/remember (aside from my talk to xterm about the Cutera) are: iOS applications (I showed a couple concerning ECG and detecting dermatology diseases to MSD and Georges), the differences between iPad 1 and iPad 2 and their navigation controls, iOS apps on Android based phones (we saw Angry Birds and Fruit Ninja on Georges's HTC while Samer enjoyed his first experience with Fruit Ninja on an iPad), double/multi layer boards, building a home-based etching lab from a scanner, and the possibility of building a 12-lead patient simulator/monitor (padre, J4D, and I), MSD's problem with thermal paste and his CPU's fan, MrClass's wireless headphones and their excessive interference (J4D, MrClass, and I), and a recap on J4D's latest projects. J4D and I tackled Arduino a bit with ali.kobeissi.
@ali.kobeissi: I forgot to give you another folder with some tutorials about starting out with electronics. I'll try to send it later on.
It sounds like you guys had lots of fun. Will def try and attend the next meeting.
PS: When is the next meeting?
