The reason they are doing this is not because they want Mobi to keep working, but for them to get the rights to use 3G. I mean no logical human being thinks that he will be able to cancel 3G installation in lebanon, but what they are aming for is to get the right to operate 3G services, because they will be in a clear disadvantage.
I think the ministry mishandled 3G distribution, they should have let private companies participate in 3G. one would have believed that the experience of 2 companies handling a service (mobile telecommunication) will make the government push for a more open market. But we are in lebanon so it is normal for us not to learn from the past.
