You already know that Wap is finally working without tweakings on Android phones but now it's way faster than a month before :)
Though ONLY web browsers are working, apps are still not connecting to wap!
Dunno if they don't recognise this obsolete connection or if Alfa will improve the wap service later...
Vegetaleb, I thought you were smarter than this.. You are dealing with Lebanese haha, they perfectly know it, they don't allow app IPs to keep the blackberry with the best internet connection due to its deal with alfa and mtc. I think when 3g finally arrives, wap would be fully open to everything and all devices, and 3g will be then limited, don't you think ?
WAP only supports browsing, it can not connect applications to the internet. Not only in Lebanon, everywhere...
I used to be able to connect eBuddy app with WAP :(
yeh, bskaram i don't think you have your facts right, wap carries any types of data packages, the only difference is down/up-speeds. Besides, 2 years back, I used to be able to run ALL my applications through wap, we got limited when the Blackberry deal got activated.
