Hi y'all
I'm guessing a lot of the older (well not "old" older, more like in their 20s) guys here probably received scholarships to go to universities like AUB, etc.
But, I'm finding it kinna hard to actually find any Lebanese undergrade scholarships online (or even from teachers), so... any names?

Hey,
AUB offers each year 10 full-tuiton merit scholarships for the undergraduates degree. It's highly competitive. My sister received one last year !
LAU gives out a couple of merit scholarships. There's a separate form for that. I applied for it and currently waiting for their reply.
UOB gives scholarships ranging from 50% - 75% - 100%
I am applying for uni's this year as well and already received 50% to UOB and 20,000$ scholarship renewable each year to Hofstra University in New York
It kinda helps to have high SAT scores and rank in the top 10% of your class.
more info about your grades would be allow us to help you

It depends on what you want to study too, for example University of Balamand has scholarships that are major related in addition to the regular "top entrance-exam scores, top grades" scholarships.

Well. Honestly, although I do love my numbers, I want to do a English major. I did pretty well on my SAT (I got a 1440) and I'm the first in my class (and have been since Brevet). I know about AUB's merit scholarships so I already applied there; I even went to their admissions office to ask if I could retake the SAT to get a higher score to increase my chance of getting the scholarship, but sadly they said I can't :/. I'm going to apply (or already did) to AUB, LAU, and Haigazian and then during the summer choose where to go based on degree prestige and costs (I'm Armenian so Haigazian is my safety school).
I'm looking for scholarships not given by universities but from other sources or foundations, like the old Hariri scholarships and the like.
It's really hard finding scholarships for Lebanese students who want to study in Lebanon :/

I don't remember details and its probably changed a bit since my time [for the better probably], but most of the universities offer financial aid/partial scholarships [AUB and LAU definitely do], so ask/apply to those as well as the merit ones.

I already applied to AUB and for its aid, and Im gonna sent my application and financial aid forms to Haigazian and LUA like around next week. But the problem is that if I don't receive a merit scholarship (which is still a possibility since the merit scholarship receipients are announced in June) then I probably can't afford LAU or AUB. Although there are some scholarships that I might get for my second year (Junior year), I'm currently looking for undergraduate scholarships that Sophomores can get from sources other than the universities themselves. :/
So... Does anyone know any scholarship associations or foundations or whatever?
