I still don't understand why companies require an educational background in CCE for a web developer, this is plain stupid. A CCE graduate may not necessarily be a good web developer at all although some can be, but still thats not a rule as any other tech related major IMO can be a good web developer or programmer depending on his/her dedication, willingness and ability to learn, love for that domain and experience. Aren't these requirements much more important than the major itself ? Job offers with such shallow requirements make me feel so pessimistic.
I believe you can still apply regardless of educational background. It's not even a requirement, it's a plus. Even if it was a requirement you could still apply and say in the cover letter that you believe your experience makes up for that.
