So I have the ogero router TG585 and now I installed IDM... i got the admin username and password
so I entered into the router and followed the wizard to install IDM connection corretly but for some odd reason it isnt connecting O.o
i was thinking of clicking the return to factory default... but i was afraid eno i would ruin something...
anybody can help out please

- Set your LAN connection to automatically obtain IP and DNS configuration.
- Open internet explorer and it will take you automatically to the setup wizard of the modem. In the setup wizard, follow the steps and set the below parameters as follows:
- Select routed PPP to set the operation mode of the modem to router.
Remark: In case you want to connect the modem to a router, please select bridge mode
- Set the VPI/VCI parameter to : 8.35
- Set your connection type to : PPPoE
- Please enter your username and password as follows:
NOW ENTER USERNAME AND PASSWORD
For Wifi modems only:
You Have to add an encryption key for security purpose by following the steps below:
- Open the web browser and type in the address bar the following IP address 192.168.1.254, The speed touch home page appears
- In the Thomson Gateway menu click on Home Network
- Under Wireless, click WLAN: SpeedTouch1F8B9E(48Mbps)
- Click configure, under Security/Encryption, click on “Use WPA-PSK Encryption” and change the Encryption key
- Click apply and wait 30 seconds before making any other change.
