Does the new generation affect the prices of the current generation of HTC's ?Or no , the HTC would be like competitors between each other ?
For the features provided by every HTC... The price is quite fair...

I paid 470$ for the HTC Desire Z. And believe me, it's worth it. While a friend of mine bought the same day, from amhaz too, an iPhone 3GS - 32GB for 500$. Now, he's regretting the 500$ he paid for his iPhone after seeing the features and potentials of an Android based HTC.

What about these devices:
- iPhone 4 and its price. (something between 900 and 1100$ i guess). Is it really worth it people.
- Nokia N8 (I recently got one too for free - i'd never purchase such a device). And this thing is a total waste of money. It's an epic fail in terms of performance and operating system. All these additions (12MP camera, HDMI, USB, etc...) are added to make it look worthwhile.

In my opinion, HTC devices are not overpriced as much as people think they are. Especially the android based ones. I was happy (and more than happy) to pay this amount to purchase an HTC.

If you're looking for something really unique, cool and powerful at the same time... It's definitely an HTC.
I think HTC Desire,Z and HD will decrease a little (50-80$) when Incredible S and Desire S will be here, but don't expect a huge difference in price because there are no big differences with actual models...
As for the Nexus One its price will not change because Google stopped producing it for a couple of months + it's the model that has the most custom roms actually so it's a sort of living legend ;)

From where did you buy it??? O_O
I paid 700$ for my hTC Hero last year from the "wakeel"
I plan on buying a newer hTC

PS: hTC ANDROID based are the best, the Windows phone sucks (hTC HD2... my dad has it and it's causing him lots of problem)

I bought it from Amhaz (Star communications) - The well known mobile store. If you don't know the location, use the search function in the forum and you'll find the details very easily.

I agree that windows based HTCs suck. I previously owned the HTC diamond (windows based) and it was nowhere better than Symbian *Sniff* Nokia N8 *Sniff*.
It's worthless to buy HTC from microage, they make you pay +200$ for a warranty that you will never use ;)
As for the HD2 you can flash Android on it,from what I heard it's very smooth and change totally the phone

Google is your friend for stuff like that. A little google search should bring up several tutorials. Invest some time trying to find a solution and report back with results. :)
