Guys I got sick of BIS's slowness, never works when I need it, too expensive ... you know the deal.
ALL I want is to be able to use Whatsapp or something of the sort that runs on my phone 24/7, I don't care about browsing I dont care about anything, since its too slow no matter the amount of money you pay to get it ! >_>
So I went down to MTC with the intentions of switching from prepaid to postpaid and subscribing to GPRS internet plan just to get Whatsapp working and heck save money!
So after becoming postpaid, I asked the salesman to subscribe me to GPRS, he said "Will you use it on this blackberry ? " I answered "yes?" . So he said " You can only subscribe to BIS to get internet on the Blackberry."
Is that really true ? Did they really make BIS the only way to get decent internet on the move to make you pay the 40$ instead of 10$ ? Or is the salesman just lying ?
I read somewhere on the forum an old post some time ago where you can simply input the information for mtc servers manually and pay for every mb you use, some apn or something, would that work for me ? You think MTC is lying about the fact that gprs doesnt work (ESPECIALLY WHEN WAP WORKS ON BB) !
I know BB is crap without BIS but just forget that for a sec espcially since I'm stuck with it and I only need to run Whatsapp ...
