Hello everyone,
After a long and painful experience with iPhone development, I finally decided to start developing Android applications. I experienced Android with my recently bought mobile phone: the HTC Desire Z with Android 2.2.1 installed and this thing i really amazing...
I downloaded all the required tools for Android development (Eclipse Helios, Android SDK, etc..) and started looking for some tutorials and eBooks on the web. I came across this great book:
Professional Android 2 Application Development.
I got this eBook and started reading it. From the first glance, i realized that Android development is fairly easy. Way easier than iPhone development using XCode. Things are simply clearer, easier for any Java developer. If you're new to Java, you should not also have difficulties in getting things working. A familiarity with any object oriented language is helpful (C# for example). (The mentioned eBook is really a great source of information).
Now for the ideas, i'd like you to share your ideas about a cool application you'd like to use on your mobile phone (even if it exists on the Android Market - with better features, i'd take a try and develop it).
And please, if you have any other resources, i'd be happy if you share it here.
Suggestions and other ideas are also welcomed.
