Enable 3D with nVidia graphic card

Hello, all been surfing the internet to find this question and no answer i have
LCD: Benq G2220HD and it is full HD LCD with Sense eye technology, i have a question if i want to enable the 3D technology in my Nvidia graphic card and i buy the 3D glasses would it work? or i need to buy new one LCD, i read couple of sites saying any LCD can be 3D is that possible?

you need screen with high refresh rate 120 Hz, the lcd screen has noting to do with the 3d, its the driver that will create the effect of depth view and the glasses will give you the 3d effect. here is a list for the best monitors for 3d.

yes you can, I have tried and it works, but dont use blue and red 3d glasses, if you want 3d you should consider buying microsofts 3d black glasses that cost ~200$...

why? because:
1) after ~10mins you stop noticing the 3d effect
2) the colors will be lost, all the colors that you'll see will be blue and red...
3) its terrible for your eyes, I asked many doctors and they all said that I should use 3d ONLY 1 hour a week...
4) expect your fps to drop to half of what it is...(if your on pc)

If you dont have a 120 Hz monitor..forget about it.

PowerDVD has an option to ''simulate'' stereoscopic 3D on non-3D LCDs...
It's still in early stages and some colors can be missed but I have an ATI so I don't know if the 3D option from Geforce can help more

i can't find it i never use PowerDVD any help please? where is that

Latest PowerDVD 10, then in the right lower part you have ''3D'' logo,click on it and choose the option you want
