Hello Geeks,
My Wireless Network connection says it's connected and sending packets but not receiving any.
Any Help would be appreciated.
is your provider a legal one or illegal one?
first question: Wireless network connection from where to where? hardware and LAN or it is provider?
Where you see packets going, which stats you are checking?

try pinging your access point/wireless connection ip for exp: 192.168.1.1 using cmd .
if you get a reply then something is wrong with your internet connection or the access point needs some troubleshooting.
heres some info that we need : your network is it : DSL ==> Access point ==> Laptop ?
if yes try to connect directly from the DSL to the laptop using lan and tell us do you have any internet connection ? or an ip assigned to your laptop ?

@dab961: try to get wireshark, it is an opensource network monitoring programm that logs EVERYTHING that happens on the LAN. Start wireshark, and tell it to monitor your wlan card and then try to connection to the internet.
Get the logged information in the forum so I can take a look at it.
