Hello i have an HTC HD7 does anyone know how to activate it. because i cannot acces the marketplace or my email without activating the phone

If you brought it from the us then you need to call Microsoft support and ask them for an activation key keep in mind they'll ask for your us number , email , home address and your name .
If from Lebanon call the seller and tell him to do that for you but i guess he doesn't know whats an activation key in the first place so you have only one choice or if you want to use online support but they might ask more questions .
Finally you can always mail the Microsoft support but they might ignore your email ( it will take more time) and you need to provide the same information that i told you before .
My opinion before buying something you should've knew what your up to believe me if you played with the iphone or an android phone before you wont be happy till now with this phone, anyway its a great phone if its 2006-8 ...

Well i have an HTC Desire and iPhone 3GS and an HD2. So don't worry. but i loved the windows phone 7 it is smooth and very simple to use not like wm6.5.
This is ridiculous that we need to contact microsoft to use our phone. i contact them via online support and they respond that i need to contact the reseller and the phone was a gift. so i don't know the reseller. i send to microsoft an email but of course they ignore it and i never got a reply.
For now the phone is useless until is activated, you can only use it as a phone and not a smartphone. No windows Live messenger no marketplace to install application like facebbok, weather,....
