hass71 i've two separate LAN networks, one for internet and one for my business, and i blocked usb devices on the business network, but i need a solution for transferring data from the internet computer to the inside network without connecting the two networks
nuclearcat Use some network storage connected to both networks This way you can control also content which is transferred (if it is linux)
hass71 i've a lot of data to transfer into the inside network, so can't use CD or DVD every time, all i can think of is manual transfer through USB, but i need something automatic without connection the 2 networks through network cable
dp0001 stick 2 wireless cards 1 in the internet network, one in the business network; setup pc 2 pc ad-hoc connection with strict firewall rules. no cables lol
WiCkEd Use LAN as Cable Connected, Much faster and easier to copy anything you want, just share the Drive or the Folder you want to copy from it and you can access it from the other computer that you are trying to copy the data to it.
hass71 you're missing the point i'm trying not to use any lan connection between the 2 networks, i want no physical connection between them
nuclearcat Storage with 2 network cards will do the job Networks will not be connected (storage is not a router)
Joe Just like Zusynoid-x said, use one PC with two network interfaces. You can use a Linux distro on the PC. Bash will do wonder to automate the task. And you can always install an antivirus (all-time favorite: ClamAV) if you're afraid of them.
nuclearcat hass71 wrotebut a virus can move in storage from network to network You can make custom filters in samba, or use some web-storage with filters for extension and content.
hass71 2 network cards wont work, i don't want to use tcp protocol ,virus can still pass through, i was thinking rs 232
