lorcan32 I recenly decided to install ubuntu alongside my Windows 7, my problem is when i burned the image on a usb, and booted from it, gave me this message "(initramfs) mount: mounting aufs on /root failed: no space left on device" Any advice on how to solve this.
Joe I don't understand why you'd try to mount your /root partition on aufs. Where did you get your Ubuntu ISO from?
leblinux So what I understand from this is that you plugged the USB and booted from it and the moment it booted gave you the error!? If yes may you tell me what software did you use to burn ubuntu.iso?
leblinux I think its wrongly burnt, try downloading http://unetbootin.sourceforge.net/ and burn the iso again so you can boot your ubuntu iso installation from it. Goodluck.
lorcan32 Ok i have done so, and am no longer recieving the error. The wierd thing is that i tried it with two other usb image burners and each would not work. Thank you leblinux.
