Chup
hey =)
this is basically my situation :
i have 2 folders , exact same pictures and exact same picture order, but different sizes
the pictures with the sizes i want are " untitled 1 , untitled 2 ... all the way to 2000 "
the same pictures but with a different name are in a different folder , but same order
is there a way to replace the untitled picture NAMES , with the names of the other folder automatically ?
cheers ^^
MSD
What is the order?

There's a tool called XXCOPY. It flattens folders and automatically merges the directory name into the filename. You can download it free for personal use. But it's command line, so you'll have to read the manual and all that - which may be pretty annoying and time consuming.

@rolf : yea i don't have time for that :(
@bash, ill explain it with an example:
i have 3 pictures named chup1 , chup2 , chup3 ( res 1024 x 768 )
and those 3 same pictures ( res 640 x 480 ) named untitled 1 , untitled 2 , untitled 3
first group of 3 is in a folder x
and the other 3 in another folder y
pictures in both folders are in the same order
i just want to replace the NAMESuntitled 1 2 3 , with the NAMEchup1 2 3, without having to do each picture on its own ( over 2000 pics )
@msd : i will know the names later this afternoon and will let you know
EDIT : we took an alternative route
thank you for your time guys ^^
