samer wroteIsn't the standard behavior of popular user agents to warn you if you are about to submit form data that has already been sent?
Yes it does. But I do not think that's enough, I have to find a way to stop that because I believe most users won't even bother read the warning.
arithma wroteYou can redirect on the post page result using javascript or better yet provide the Location header to redirect to somewhere else. I usually go for the latter (Location) since it relies solely on the HTTP protocol.
I tried that already and it worked, but not quiet perfectly. See I'm generating the HTML (displaying search data) using PHP. After I redirect the page using header('Location: '. $_SERVER["PHP_SELF'].'?var=blah') I cannot output the HTML tags anymore.
About using Javascript, I did not quiet understand what you were saying, mind elaborating?
