longbit i have read the Nortel manual (inventor of SMLT) it explain how it works and that i send the frame over a link but didn't mention how the path is chosen and according to what. well in some cases the chosen link would be the only path for the destination... but what if there was 2 paths? that's what am looking for. is it the shortest path or it is selected by an algorithm... not sure between those 2 options.
