vengeance666 wrotethat's advancement and technology my friend , you prefer paying for example 50$ for 20 mbit/s or 1 gbit/s ? what the heck ill take the 1 gbit/s it's better in every way i guess and i'll find a use for such speed !! advancing like that should not be taken as " why the hell someone needs this 1 gbit at home " instead work should be done for better speeds , because in the near future 20 mbit/s will become as obsolete as our 256k and 1 gbit will find it's full usage , better advance to that now instead of nagging of slow internet in the future ( like our lebanese case , if we upgraded our technology slowly around the years we wouldn't have been in this crap situation in the first place ) .
No that's just us, humans, being greedy. I'm really not sure where the "bandwidth" come from, does it come from a renewable source of energy? If not, then we shouldn't really waste our resources (in this case: bandwidth) just because we can. But...
