Hey guys, here's the deal, me and my friend were bored the other day so we decided to try and start playing LOTRO since it is free and all. It is downloadable from their website but it's 10 GB and since I'm an Ogero customer and with our crappy connection we all know it would take 80 years for me to download it. Turns out my friend had the cd and he downloaded it fine, he gave it to me today, and after numerous attempts there's always an erro message saying: "An error occured while trying to copy a file. The source file is corrupted." I tried it on two of my laptops with always the same error. What do you guys suggest I do? Buy a new CD from pcandparts or keep trying?
Lord Of The Rings Online
Buy a new CD.
Did your friend install it on a desktop? Try installing it on another desktop. If it doesn't work, then buy a new CD. All I'm saying is that the CD drives on either of those computer might not be 100% working.
I tried installing it on a desktop as well, didn't work. I think I may have broke my CD drive since it doesn't open now with the push of the button and when I open it manually and put a CD in it it won't read it.Tako_400 wroteDid your friend install it on a desktop? My friend installed it on his laptop, but he just told me it doesn't work anymore.
