so i was thinking to buy an LCD screen for my computer + a VGA card most likly a gt240 due to lower power consumption and stuff like that and am not a heavy gamer i just play dota ^_^ ...

so do u think i should buy the LCD and vga christmas times or after? when are the pricest the cheapest?

btw i saw the pcandparts they seem to have good prices

About the LCD, I would say go for an LED 20" LG E2040S. I'm more than satisfied with this awesome monitor. And by the way, I've got the GT 240 as well. I played COD:MW2 using it and the experience was very enjoyable.

I agree with Kassem that buying a LED LCD from LG will be a better buy, but I suggest that you buy the LED 21.5" LG E2240S Full HD (the E2040S is not 1920 x 1080). Yes the E2240S is more expensive, but the extra 40$ that you will pay will be worth it, since you will be able to watch Blu-ray movies which is becoming the mainstream... (E2040S=127$ while the E2240S=169$ from PCandParts).

Get a 22 inch monitor, I find that is perfect screen size for desktop use.

Listen, I want to sell my 22 inch Samsung SyncMaster 226BW. You can have it for, I dunno, 120$?
It's great, the only reason I'm selling it is because I want dual screens and I prefer to have them both the same type.
