I have to change a setting in BIOS.
So I boot my computer normally, and the 'Loading' of windows XP takes place and then the accounts page load, without any indication to special keys to press to access the BIOS!
How exactly do I access it when I turn on my computer? Help please
For additional info: Windows XP Professional 2002 - Service Pack 2
Press the delete button or F2 a couple of times after starting the computer and before windows starts to load.
-_-
Press Esc .... you should see "Press X to enter bios settings" or whatever. Usually it's Del / F2 / F12 depending on the model
In there you should set your password, Security settings

I tried holding down F2, pressing F2 a couple of time, holding down delete, pressing delete a couple of time, presing F2 and Delete simultaneously, slammin all the keys !! Nothing is working !!
The boot take 3 seconds before windows start loading ! That's pretty fast! Fast Boot mode? Any way to chnage that?
I really need to access BIOS and this is getting annoying :/

All I get is a Black screen for 2,3 seconds before windows start to load. No prompt window, no "Press X to enter bios settings" nothing ! This is weird.
I doesn't matter what version of OS you have, the BIOS loads before it (Goddamit, are you a geek or what?). Make a google search on the model of your motherboard and how to access BIOS.
Normally it's any of these keys:
Tab, F2, Del. (also try F1, F3, F4...)
Try pressing repetitively directly after boot.
I pressed ESC
A black screen written on it: Press [F1] for default setting.

I tried everything before pressing F1, and when I did windows started normally !
Damn

One, I don't need labels. There's things I Know and things I don't know and I'm working on filling the gaps. I admit my shortcomings. At least I learn
Second, I did my research and googled everything. This Laptop is an old model. It doesn't even have integrated Wifi. It's my Old Laptop ! But I'm working on something so I could control my Laptop through my BB. And its working. I just have to change some settings. I don't want to mess around with my new laptop
The thing is, there is a way to boot my laptop from my BB through wifi (even when its turned off), but the setting called “WOL", “Wake ON LAN”, “Remote wake up” should be enabled. And I need to access BIOS which surprisingly isn't working.
I'm still in highschool so yes my computer skills are still limited . But I'm good at what I do !
There's also F8.

Ask a couple of friends to lend their hands as well ;)
Instead of giving us your OS, could you give us the name of your motherboard. That way we could tell you what to do.
