silencer5185 I have a nintendo 64, i got the console from the USA which means it has 110v power supply and i accidentally plugged it here in lebanon to a 220v outlet and it stopped working so i was wondering, could the ADAPTER be burned because it is HUGE, and not the system and if the adapter is burned what solutions to i have how can i repair it and if the system is burned how can i repair it too.
Flakk Is the adapter separated from the console? If yes, it can be replaced, you have to find an adapter with exact same voltages and amps and output connector. Some pics could help us help you :P
silencer5185 thanks bro and yea they are separated, heres a pic of the adapter mate. http://www.missingcord.com/images/DSC_5372.jpg
Flakk Thanks for the pic. This is more complicated than i thought, as the adapter outputs both 3.3v at 2.7A and 12v at 0.8. Katranji has some good power supply units, but im not sure i can find something similar that can output two different voltages from the same unit. One solution is to use two adapters (with appropriate voltages) and make the cable yourself to connect it to the N64.
silencer5185 I can't do it on my own man, i'm not that good in physics and wiring i'm only 15, if you could do it for me i'll give you the adapter and you can work on it. So can you?
