The admin (samer) prefers to keep the number of categories to a minimum. We've asked for several new categories before but he believes the current available ones are enough. But anyway, there's nothing wrong about using the Forum Lobby for posting job opportunity, just add "[Job Opportunity]" to the beginning of thread title.
Or, maybe create a thread with the title Job Opportunities which then could be set as a sticky. Then anyone who has a job opportunity could post it there. The opportunities are only valid for a certain duration of time anyway, so there's no point in creating a dedicated category for them.
