iPhone with integrated SIM cards?

Hey guys,

Apparently Apple are considering making their products have integrated SIM cards which you can activate by downloading an app from the App store or at your local cellphone carrier.

Bad move. Unlikely.
Only reason they would do it is to be able to use it on all carriers. Bad news would be using it in countries that do not support the iPhone ie Lebanon.

^ Exactly. I'm sure neither alfa or MTC would activate those sim cards.

This is the natural next move for the cell phone industry :) already in the US most cell phone plans are without a SIM card. All the info is programmed to the phone.
