It's finally out. Game came out today and so did the torrent. You'd be smart to wait for the comments, though. Don't waste 6GB's of bandwidth on something that doesn't work. Have fun!

I removed the link due to the rules.
Nah. I'd rather go buy the original product and give my share to the developers for their time and effort.

P.S.: Isn't it against the rules to post links to torrents and wares?
man, seriously? its just 1000 L.L in BH, you would rather download a 6gb file?
Of course not. I'm looking for it so I can play it this weekend. If it came out today, do you think it's anywhere in Lebanon by this Friday?

Do you know where I could get the original? Neither Virgin nor Nino are into PC originals.
Guys, no warez links in the forum.

Its tough being a PC gamer around here. The only way you can get an original is to order online or use steam or any similar services.

Trust him, its tough, being a PC gamer here in lebanon, and ordering online appeared to have its own problems as well, atleast according to me.

Soo yeah go ahead & get it for 1000 or 5000.

bye
to answer your question about original PC games

Virgin has been getting original PC games (both Mafia II and Kayne and Lynch II) so most probs they will get this

IF they dnt, buy the copy, install to some location X

then buy the game on steam, and run the download(just download like 500kb of it)

then copy the game files from location X to your steam apps folder (should be obvious where it is)

open up steam library, then resume your download, it SHOULD recognize the files and download maybe a couple of mbs more for the Steam stuff

works with pretty much every game

happy PCing

(im considering here that the game will get/already has gotten a release on steam)
The-MMMs that sounds like a good method, but it might not work if the copy is altered in some way, as cracked games often are.

I'd really like to get some not-so-new original PC games for online gaming, such as Armed Assault and Unreal Tournament 2004.

it DOES work

ive done it for: Mw2, Geometry Wars, and Borderlands

what i advise is dnt copy over the .exe file(s)

as long as it isn't those heavily modded games, but the only diff between a cracked and original game is the exe file, everything else stays intact.

you see all games sync with the steam cloud so steam will fill in what is wrong/or missing ;) as long as you buy the game through steam and download some of it (so the game folder will appear in the steamapps folder) then your good to go to copy paste over the files.

Thanks for that method. But if you have to buy the game from Steam first to be able to download it, what's the point? I already have the game but I'm paying $60 either way just to be able to play it "legally" off Steam?

I have been doing this method too! Works like a charm. Man we Lebanese can manage anything here no matter the situation lol.

so if something happened to the game and the main exe files got somehow corrupted, you have to re-purchase the game?? or they do give some specific key you can always use whenever you want to install/download the game..

No you dont have to re-purchase the game nor they give you a key. The games you buy are registered to your steam account, you can download the games as many times you like (on whatever pc you are on), you just need the steam application installed on your pc.

They are now selling Fallout New Vegas at one of the pirated video games stores that I visited today :)

So save your precious Internet quota and buy the DVDs (the pirated ones of course ;) ).

Store name: CD MoonLight
Location: Beirut Southern Suburb, Haret Hreik, Arid Street, Beside Al-Wataniyeh Coop.

Actually, it is the best place in that area to buy PC games from, they have a lot of PC games, and the store is very neat and will organized, but they are a bit more expensive... (the DVD costs 3000 L.L in their store, while many stores near them are selling the DVD for 1000 L.L).

Here is their website: http://www.cdmoonlight.net/
