The i7-980X Extreme.
Even its name sounds godly. Anyways, each core is clocked at 3.33Ghz (not bad considering Intel had to decrease clocks to compensate for heat when the Quad Cores came out) and it can reach a clock of 3.6Ghz with Intel's turbo technology. It's got an L3 cache of 12Mb and a QPI of 6.4GT/s! Oh and its maximum wattage (Max TDP) reaches 130W. But I did notice that it's max stable temp was 67.9 degrees Celsius. I guess it's not so bad, but overclockers wouldn't like that considering temps could reach 71 degrees in the Quads. And of course, it's got 12 threads. But gamers, it's been proven that disabling HT improves game performance and lower temperatures, so do what you must. Wicked, innit?
