  • Goo places to buy DDR2 RAM for laptop

Hey everyone, I have a laptop HP DV9000 with 1GB Ram with two slots having 512mb sticks each. I would like to get 2 1GB sticks to replace them so that I can have 2GB Ram on the pc. Please share with me a possible price range for how much it would cost me and please suggest some good places and brands you know of and advise me to use. Thanks in advance, have a good day :)

1GB PC-6400 800MHz DDR2 for Notebook $18.00
I was thinking of getting the $18 one but the thing is that the maximum bandwidth as you see in the memory slot is 333 MHz, will a 800 MHz Ram stick work in that slot? I know it may sound stupid but I just want to stay on the safe side and not end up buying something that doesn't work.

Your laptop's motherboard supports 533 to 667 MHz memory clock speed. So I recommend getting the 1G- PC5300 DDR2.

Around 25$ maybe. And PCandparts dont really tell their location, i have asked them before. Just send them an email and they should deliver to you.
Or try out some other places like Teledata or Microcity or any other computer places you know.
Are you sure it's an HP dv9000? You already know I've got this same laptop and it comes with 2GB installed, not just 1GB. I had to replace one of the 1GB sticks with a 2GB so now I have 3GB of RAM. The laptop failed to boot when I tried installing 4GB of RAM.

Lol bat cave. Nah there is no benefit in hiding their secret headquarters. Well I ordered a Dlink wireless router 2 days ago, and got an invoice via email with their address typed on the top left side:
