Has anyone tried that, using mobile internet? Using MSN voice? (Fring is a good mobile MSN voice client).
Do you think there is enough bandwidth? Quota? Is EDGE available at all? What about GPRS?
Edit: Forget it, with rates of 0.1$/MB it's cheaper to use the phone. VOIP will easily eat up 10 megs a minute. And that's if I can get it working at all. I'm sticking to WiFi.

As you said man, don't even think about it. With our crappy expensive quotas, your monthly bill will go through the roof in no time.

Hmm actually I was wrong in my post, it seems VOIP bandwidth can be low like 4KB/s, which is about 0.3 megs a minute, not 10! Sorry it was a false approximation I did.

If it is a cheaper solution, i would be way too popular and used by everyone.

I dont think it's cheaper then regular mobile or landlines, but it may very well be for international calls, and that's what I'm interested in.
