For such specs i think it's a good deal ! Sonys are a bit over priced compared to other makes. But i think they are worth it :D
what makes it expensive is the 128 gb ssd . but the downside is that the warranty does not work in lebanon

( i am about to press the buy button :-)
Press that button my friend.
I did before, and didn't regret it. Vaio laptops deserve ever single cent spent on them!
I bought a Vaio VPC11F from the U.S and its warranty doesn't cover Lebanon as well. and trust me, it IS a very good machine to own...

As for this model, i don't really recommend it. unless you insist on purchasing it. For the same amount of money, you can buy better specs (Way better than this). Check the VPC11F series :) They ROCK !
i pressed the button :-) it is mine !!

thank you for your replies , the 16" is too much for me , i prefer 13" and this is the only model made in japan the others are all china

yorgi , i found out that if you buy your laptop in the usa from an authorised reseller you can qualify for an international warranty ( that does not cover lebanon ) "International Repair Service Program" : http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/support-info.pl?info_id=363
That does NOT cover Lebanon... sounds cool ! But Useless :)
yes but it covers :
Australia,Austria; Belgium; Bulgaria; Czech Republic; Denmark; England; Finland; France; Germany; Greece; Hungary; Ireland; Italy; Luxemburg; Netherlands; Portugal; Romania; Russia; Slovakia; Spain; Sweden; Switzerland, Canada,Hong Kong,India,Japan,Korea,Malaysia,New Zealand,Singapore,South Africa,Taiwan,Thailand,USA.

so mabe if ur travelling u could fix it there if something happens ( not completely useless )
Mabrook ! How is his majesty arriving to Lebanon ?
