Hi Geeks,
I'm trying to learn how to build some .net programs that deal with networking (Sockets, network stream), so any suggestions are welcomed.

There are several ways to do what you want. The simplest way is to use TcpListener/TcpClient

Here's an example on MSDN : http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.net.sockets.tcplistener.aspx
