  • Recovering a RAR file? (packed data CRC error)

I just finished downloading a 1.4GB rare video from mediafire partitioned into 29 rar parts..
almost each file equals 50MB, the freaking problem was after finishing the download i tried to extract the video but part3 gave me that error message packed data CRC failed, it destroyed the whole file and the video wouldn't get extracted in the right way, only because of 1 corrupt archive,

Things I've tried so far and didn't work:
-Re-downloaded the file 3 times each time from a different download manager <fail>
-Chose the option keep broken files when extracting in winrar <fail>
-Used a recovery software, advanced rar repair, again I failed to fix it
-Searched the whole Internet for the same file and didn't found it on another servers or even torrents..

is there any way to recover the file, I don't want to waste a 1.4GB file I downloaded because of a silly corrupt single archive...

I'd appreciate it if someone could help me out recover that rar archive...
rar usually has its own error fix mechanism, but it would not work unless the original file compressed file includes it. usually that is in the advanced options, you can attempt to download the individual file from another pc, that is in case your pc cache is somehow failing you. i once had that problem.
Is the video file inside an ISO or any other image file? Because I once downloaded a Lynda DVD from mediafire and some parts were corrupted. But then I extracted them by keeping broken files and then I extracted the iso itself and it worked ! all the videos were playable and everything was fine.
ma2ilak nasib bi hal video absar sho howe :D maybe the rar files of the video itself was corrupted ;)
@BachLogic thanks I'll try to download it from a different pc, hope it works

@mk555 well lynda videos have several quicktime video parts, the video im downloading isnt in an iso its a single 1.4GB avi file, plus i already tried the keep broken files method and didn't really work..

Aj_Blaz thanks khayye tammantne a2wa solution walla :P btw its a rare epic concert in japan of a genius instrumental rock guitar musician (marty friedman) -->

I'll keep searching for a recovery method that actually works, and it would be great if someone knows some kind of solution..
you can try opening it in 7zip. Its free, and it worked for me one time when i had the same problem.. though i don't remember if the RAR was split into smaller files....
