Hello everyone! It's good to find a community like this in Lebanon.
I even know some of the people on here!
My name's Saeid, I'm a computer engineer.
I like programming.
With a few thoughts I can bend a machine to my twisted will. :)
More importantly, it's a technical discipline that can be elevated to an art.
That's what I look for when I work with computers.
My ultimate aim is to create
beautiful computing experiences that resonate with people on an emotional level.
What does that mean? I'm not really sure, but it's fun trying to find out.
I find myself drawn nowadays to the Free Software movement.
Whenever I try to explain the importance of Free Software to people I know,
I am met with blank stares. I also want the Open Source Hardware efforts to move
forward since hardware's a field I'm actively involved in.
In short, I'm pretty sure that one day the internet will gain consciousness and I want to help!

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. I was actually looking around for any local LUGs when I stumbled upon LebGeeks and I saw that some of the folks from beyond-security had also found refuge here. I immediately signed up :)

And the Lord spake, saying, "First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin. Then shalt thou count to three, no more, no less. Three shall be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the third number, be reached, then lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch towards thy foe, who, being naughty in my sight, shall snuff it.
